Gabe and I went and saw a doctor yesterday to get a referral for an orthopedic doctor. His doctor looked at him and gave Gabe some cream to put on his road rash and some more pain medicine. The orthopedic doctor should call us within 48 to 72 hours to make an appointment. Seems weird that they want to wait that long but this doctor seems very good and well known! Now we are just waiting to head up to San Antonio to see the doctor and see if he need surgery. 95% of the time you don't need surgery so thats good odds to me!
We are glad that God has blessed us and now he probably won't need surgery! Please keep us still in your prayer and that Gabe won't have to have surgery!
Here are some more pictures of Gabe's road rash.

Gabe Motorcycle Accident
As you all may know by now that Gabe was in a motorcycle accident last friday, April, 20 around 6:30 pm. He was riding by himself around the neighborhoods by our house. He was going up a blind curved hill when he saw a truck pulling out onto the road. He realized he was going to fast to stop in time so he tried to pump his breaks and move into the other lane. Then the bike lost control and hit the curb and thats when it made Gabe fly off the front of the bike. He hit his shoulder first then his helmet. Thank God he was wearing a helmet!! The truck stop and call the ambulance for him. I arrived shortly afterwards to see him right before he was taken to the hospital. I had to stay behind to deal with the cops and get a wrecker out there to get the bike back to the house. Luckily our close friend Kristen and Patrick were close to the Hospital when I called and met Gabe there. Patrick stayed with Gabe the whole time while they were clean his road rash and taking X-rays. Gabe has a broken collarbone. Gabe was only at the hospital for two hours then he was sent home. Now we are just waiting for monday to go see a orthopedic doctor in San Antonio. It is the same doctor who did his shoulder surgery a few years back. I will do my best to keep everyone updated on what is going to happen next! But for now we just need prayers! Thank you so much and God has been with us through this whole thing! He has truly blessed us that nothing worse happened to Gabe and He has kept me calm through the whole thing!

Monday
Gabe and I had to take Bentley to the vet Friday. He had some bloody stools:/ This happened once before so we knew to get him in right away! The vet says it might happen time to time but to bring him in fast it will be alright. We just put an ivy in him to pump some blood cells in him i think... but a hour or two later he was good to go! Luckily Gabe was able to go to the vet with me before he left for his men'd retreat! Other then the little scare the boys and I had a relaxing weekend without Gabe. We all missed him though... Here is a picture of Bentley missing his Daddy:( but they did like sleeping in his spot in the bed haha!

Hello:)
Hello family and friends! I decided to start a blog for everyone to keep in touch with what is going on here in Laredo with Gabe and I. I notice everyone enjoys Megan's blog so i got myself to getting around to starting one:)
Gabe and I are doing well. We are trying to enjoy Laredo as much as we can:) Gabe is involved with the worship team at our local church and I am helping out with the youth group. Gabe is actually going to a men's retreat this weekend. I'll be at home with the boys hanging out. I know he will have a great time with all the guy stuff they have planned!
Bentley and Beau are doing great! They are to little trouble makers but sweet babies! Bentley is already two years old and Beau is 9 months!! They are growing up on me!
I hope you all enjoy and I will try to keep it updated for everyone!!
